Welcome.

Welcome to Mattawan’s Later Elementary School!  Our school serves over 800 students in grades three, four, and five and we are very proud of our accomplishments.  The Later Elementary building was opened a year ago and our students learn in a state of the art facility.  Our experienced faculty is ready to serve your child in an environment that is caring and nurturing. We provide services for those with special support as well as for those students who excel academically.  Resource Room and other related Special Education services are available.  All students receive instruction in music, art, physical education, library skills, and technology/media skills.

Mattawan Consolidated Schools, located just west of Kalamazoo, educates 3,650 students in grades Young 5's through 12 in five different beautiful facilities.
